Speech & Language Therapy
For Children and Adolescents
Our SLTs are champions of collaborative care and we look forward to assisting you and your child in their communication journey. Our therapy sessions are play-based, child-led, and focus on your child’s strengths. We believe that every child has different needs, and we are excited to embark on this journey of discovering your child’s communication needs with you! This may be in the form of:
- Improving your child’s ability to understand better and express themselves coherently
- Helping your child pronounce words better
- Developing literacy skills (including phonological awareness, reading, and writing skills)
- Providing your child with an alternative communication method (such as through high-tech or low-tech communication systems)
- Strengthening your child’s ability to speak more comfortably and confidently in front of others
- And many more!
Apart from working in individual settings, our SLT team also runs group sessions for children working on social communication skills. Children will be grouped based on their ages and/or ability levels to ensure conducive, comfortable, and productive sessions.

Speech & Language Therapy
For Adults
As adults, often we are more aware of our difficulties than children are, and that can get frustrating. Fret not! Our SLT team is here to guide you and your family through this journey of further developing your communication skills. Communication difficulties in adults may arise from a range of conditions such as stroke, brain injuries, tumours, neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, muscular dystrophy, motor neuron diseases, or dementia. They can present in various forms, such as:
- Language difficulties (including difficulties understanding spoken or written language or word-finding difficulties)
- Speech difficulties (such as weakness in oral motor muscles, unclear or slurred speech, motor-planning difficulties)
- Cognitive communication difficulties (difficulty with processing language due to cognitive impairments)
- Fluency disorders (stuttering/ stammering, cluttering)
- Voice disorders (vocal nodules, strained or hoarse voice)
- Aural rehabilitation (post-Cochlear implants)
Additionally, our SLTs also run speech improvement sessions with working adults who wish to better their day-to-day communication skills. This may range from working on presentation skills, pronunciation, or organisation of thought, in order to make you a confident speaker in your community or at work.
