Educational Therapy Team
Michelle Yee
Hello! I’m Michelle, an Educational Therapist from Singapore. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling. With more than a decade of experience working in private clinics with children and their families, I’m deeply passionate about the children in my care and their unique learning journeys. I specialise in school-aged learning challenges, including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Global Developmental Delay, Anxiety, ADHD, and ASD.
I have acquired training for specialised intervention programs in the United States, which aid in the development of sensory-cognitive processes involved in learning efficiently. With a diverse intervention approach, I believe in tailoring sessions to best fit the individual needs of each child with openness and creativity, while incorporating the use of relevant strategies and specialised learning tools. I’m committed to providing a safe space for each child to empower them to work through their challenges in a collaborative manner with warmth and guidance.
As a strong advocate that physical, emotional, and psychological well-being play an important part in a child’s learning, I believe in taking an active role of collaborating with families and other multidisciplinary professionals within a child’s environment to maximise support in their development. With the firm belief that motivation, self-efficacy, and interest in learning are important forces in the process of gaining a sense of mastery, I strive to create opportunities for your child to experience the journey of learning meaningfully and to grow to participate actively in their learning environment.
