Leong Yi Lin
Hello, I am Yi Lin, a paediatric physiotherapist with over a decade of experience working with children. My passion lies in working with young kids and early intervention, and as a mom of two myself, I understand the importance of family-centred care that’s also creating an environment where little ones feel comfortable and excited to learn and grow while reaching their full potential.
I hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from The University of South Australia and a Masters of Paediatric Physiotherapy (Distinction) from University of College London (UK). I spent the first 10 years of my career at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where I’ve had the joy of working closely with children and families facing a wide range of gross motor difficulties and developmental challenges. I am also involved in the development of the Early Childhood Holistic Outcomes (ECHO) framework, contributing directly to the training and coaching of early intervention professionals in EIPIC centres across Singapore.
My clinical expertise involves working closely with neonatologists, paediatricians, neurologists, rehabilitation physicians, and other allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for every child. I am adept in working with neonates, infants, premature babies and children with various developmental needs such as global developmental delay, complex medical and neurological conditions, and orthopaedic issues such as torticollis, flathead, clubfoot, tiptoeing, in-toeing and out-toeing gait issues.
Throughout my career, I am deeply honoured to have been recognised with prestigious awards, including the Gold Medal from the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards, and the Service from the Heart Award, reflecting my commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of every child and family I have the privilege of working with. Walking alongside every one of them has been such a humbling experience, and I’d love to be part of your child’s developmental journey.
