Speech & Language Therapy Team
Candice Lin
Hi, I’m Candice! I’m a speech therapist from Australia and I completed my degree at the University of Sydney where I had the privilege to work with families that come from all walks of life.
I’ve always cherished and valued human connection and I believe communication is at the heart of meaningful relationships. I love seeing the joy of a child whose wants are finally understood, or the relief of the parent who is no longer stressed about mealtimes, or the happiness of families who are able to communicate more easily with their loved one.
I have experience working with children with a range of developmental needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), feeding challenges, language delays, and speech sound delays. I’ve had the pleasure of supporting children and families across different settings such as homes, schools, clinics, and via telehealth, and I love how there are no borders to how speech therapy can be accessed.
My clinical interests include paediatric feeding, language development, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). I strongly believe in a family-centred, child-led approach, working collaboratively with families to set meaningful goals and adapting therapy to suit each family’s needs and capacity.
I am continually humbled by the strength, love, and resilience of the families I work with, and I look forward to supporting you and your family on your journey!
