Our Services
Counselling
At Ohana Therapy, we recognise that parenting can be deeply rewarding, but also incredibly challenging, especially when navigating uncertainty around your child’s behaviour, learning, or diagnosis. You don’t have to go through it alone. Our counselling services are designed to support parents and caregivers who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of how best to support their child. We provide a safe, non-judgemental space to process your thoughts and emotions, explore your parenting values, and reconnect with your sense of confidence and clarity. We use a neuroaffirming, strengths-based lens that respects every child’s individuality and honours the unique journey of each family. Whether you’re dealing with recent behavioural concerns, adjusting to a new diagnosis, or simply needing a space to be heard, our counselling team is here to walk alongside you.

Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP) Program
For Parents
The Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP) program is an internationally recognised, evidence-based course designed to help caregivers strengthen their relationship with their child. At its heart, COSP helps you understand your child’s emotional needs, improve your ability to respond to their behaviours with insight and empathy, and reflect on your own experiences of being parented, all within a safe, supportive space.
By the end of the COSP course, parents and caregivers will:
- Recognise and respond to their child’s attachment needs with greater confidence
- Learn to "read" behaviours as communication, not defiance
- Understand the importance of co-regulation and emotional safety
- Explore their own triggers, parenting patterns, and unmet needs
- Build stronger, more secure parent-child relationships
Course Format:
- 8-week course, held weekly for 1.5 hours per session
- Small group format (4–8 participants) to allow for open discussion and connection
- Led by a trained, registered COSP facilitator and therapist
- Includes reflective video content, real-life examples, and guided discussions
We run COSP groups several times a year. Private groups for friends, organisations, or schools can also be arranged upon request
